Il 20 settembre presso lo Yunduan Chengdu si è tenuto il concerto inaugurale dell’Expo “Western China International Fair”.
Il programma è stato dedicato alle musiche di Nino Rota. Il M.tro Stefano Mazzoleni ha diretto la Sichuan Philarmonic Orchestra che ha suonato assieme all’orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova; Sonia Peruzzo, soprano, ha dato voce alle intramontabili composizioni del compositore.
L’originale regia di Tony Paticchio ha raccontato, tramite supporto multimediale, le bellezze dell’Italia, arricchite dalle coreografie dei ballerini del Teatro alla Scala di Milano
Alla manifestazione sono intervenuti, oltre ai rappresentanti delle ambasciate, la delegazione della confindustria di Genova, il sovrintendente del Carlo Felice, e il vicepresidente del consiglio Luigi di Maio con una delegazione del Governo Italiano.
